Mazdapeed FPR install instructions.

1) Locate the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line located on the backside of the intake manifold, cut in half and insert the 3/16” plastic tee.

2) Cut a short piece (approx. 2”) off from the Included hose and attach the check valve to the tee with the arrow pointing away from the tee.

3) Drill a hole into the plastic intake pipe approx 3”-4” back from the MAF sensor using the included 5/16” drill bit. While this kit was designed to have an OEM appearance, for a completely stealth look, you can remove the pipe and drill the hole from the bottom so that the installation of this kit will not affect the “stock” look. Take care not to get too many plastic shavings down into the pipe. I recommend that you remove the MAF from the pipe and stuff a rug into it while drilling. Don’t panic if you do end up dropping some shavings down the pipe, it is only plastic and in reality will not harm anything.

4) Insert the rubber grommet into the hole that was just drilled with the larger side out and push the 3/16” plastic elbow into the grommet with the angled end going inside the pipe. Be sure to point outlet of elbow AWAY from the MAF sensor.

5) Run a length of the included hose from the elbow to the outlet of the check valve. Be sure that the hose will not interfere with any moving parts- like the THROTTLE LINKAGE!!! Use the included Zip Ties to secure the hose anywhere it may be necessary.
